ARTIST'S PHILOSOPHY
I do not
consider wild life art to be about animals necessarily but rather
about anything that is wild and natural, be it an
animal a landscape or even man. What I imply by wild includes
even those aspects of nature we find less appealing to our poetic
sense, namely the survival of the fittest and the clash of species
in their less savory interaction. The pervading wisdom of it all
remains my foremost inspiration and the key of my ongoing work.
I prefer
to render nature " as it is " even if I sometimes stretch
my definition of nature to include urban environment . Forgotten
or ruined buildings that we overlook everyday often form my painting's
background in order to give some life back to that fauna we do
not even notice anymore.
